The Giant Schnauzer
Some giant schnauzers get along well with other dogs and cats, but some are very aggressive. They must be well-socialized from puppyhood. They are spirited, intelligent and alert. Watchful, courageous, easily trained, deeply loyal to family and playful. The sound, reliable temperament, rugged build make for one of the most useful, powerful, and enduring working breeds. Giant schnauzers should be brushed and combed twice a week and trimmed every three months. They need good long daily walks. Height: 23-27 inches Photo courtesy of www.corbis.com Click on the links below to get to a region. The number in the "#" section represent the number of breeders for a region. |
