The Boxer
Boxers usually get along with other dogs. As in any breed, early obedience training is very important. With a consistent, determined owner, the boxer does well in obedience classes. The Boxer should be alert, dignified and self-assured. With family and friends, his temperament is playful, yet patient with children. Deliberate and wary with strangers, he will exhibit curiosity but, fearless courage if threatened. He responds promptly to friendly overtures. His intelligence, loyal affection and tractability to discipline make him a highly desirable companion. The boxer has a short, straight, and shiny coat that lies smooth and close to the body. Coat color is fawn or brindle . There are white markings on the muzzle, chest, and legs. Photo courtesy of www.corbis.com Click on the links below to get to a region.
