The Scottish Fold

The Scottish Fold is a result of a spontaneous mutation that appear in 1961 in a barnyard cat named Suzie. The gene is an incomplete dominant gene.

They are sweet, gentle and quiet cats. With their big round eyes and folded ears they have a distinctive expression among feline breeds.

They get along very well with other animals, including dogs. Sociable and curious, the Folds can often be seen sitting up on their back haunches like little prairie dog, perhaps to have a better view of their surrounding.
